(Kauai) – The Agency on Elderly Affairs is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards.
The program is designed to honor older adults age 65 and older that have made exceptional contributions to their community.
Nomination forms are available Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, at the Agency on Elderly Affairs located at the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, suite 330.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Thursday, Feb. 28.
All nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in May, in recognition of May being Older Americans Month. Kaua’i’s Outstanding Male and Female Older Americans will be announced at that event.
