(Maui) – The County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development (OED) announced a free workshop on OED grants funding for the 2016 fiscal year.
The workshop will be held on two different dates in order to better accommodate the public: the first workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 23 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Haynes Meeting Room. The second workshop will be on Thursday, July 2 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Higashi Meeting Room.
“This is a perfect opportunity to learn all about OED funding, how to apply, and what criteria we consider when making funding decisions, said Teena Rasmussen, Director of OED, “We urge our current grantees to attend as well as any organization who might like to seek future OED funding.”
Attendees will receive an application packet for Fiscal Year 2016 and complete step-by-step training on the application process. OED staff will also be on hand to answer any questions attendees might have.
