(PO‘IPŪ) – Ocean Safety Bureau officials are advising no swimming at Po‘ipū Beach until further notice due to a shark sighting.
OSB officials report that a possible 5-foot shark was sighted fronting the Nukumoi Tower.
As a safety precaution, Ocean Safety officials have posted warning signs and will continue to monitor the area.
Lifeguards will reassess the area on Monday.
