(LĪHU‘E) – In its continuing efforts to utilize technology to streamline operations, the County of Kaua‘i has rolled out another initiative.
Real property owners can now register for electronic billing and assessment notices, which would save them time and money as well as help the environment by saving trees.
To sign up, go to https://eNoticesOnline.com to create an account and input the unique code found on your tax bill or assessment notice as the authorization code.
“If everyone opts in to this initiative, it would save the county hundreds of dollars in manpower, envelopes and postage,” said Deputy Director of Finance Sally Motta. “Ultimately, the taxpayers would benefit as well.”
Currently, the county mails out approximately 22,000 real property tax bills per cycle in July and January.
Over the last several years, the County of Kaua’i has incorporated several technology-driven initiatives into its online customer services, including submittal of bids and proposals for county projects and payment of real property taxes, sewer bills, and motor vehicle registration fees.
Other e-services offered by the county include the submittal of building plans, applying for county jobs, enrollment in Connect CTY, the county’s emergency notification system and access to various county forms.
