The Queen’s Medical Center – West O‘ahu, located at 91-2141 Fort Weaver Road, Ewa Beach, opened its doors on May 20, 2014, and received an outstanding response and welcome from the West Oahu community. Services include those essential to a community hospital such as emergency room, inpatient and outpatient surgery, imaging, cardiology and specialty clinics. The hospital has 80 beds and will increase up to 134 beds as volume increases.
The Queen’s Medical Center was founded in 1859 by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV. The opening date of May 20 also coincided with the birthday of the King and Queen’s beloved son, Prince Albert.
