(Oahu)– Celebrate Hawaiian culture and shop locally, at SALT at Our Kakaʻako’s monthly Pa‘akai Marketplace. The cultural showcase takes place in The Barn at SALT and brings together local artists, crafters and cultural practitioners. Held in collaboration with PAʻI Foundation, this is a free family and pet-friendly event. PA‘I Foundation’s goal is to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian cultural traditions for future generations.
On Friday, February 15th– enjoy music from Sonny Kapu at 5 p.m., followed by Denny Ono at 7:15 p.m.
On Saturday, February 16th visit the SALT Bar Crawl. Enjoy featured drinks from Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room, Pitch Sports Bar and The Boiling Crab. Butcher & Bird will serve up great food. Listen to music at 5 p.m. by Yoza, followed by Uluwehi Young at 7:30 p.m. The SALT Bar Crawl continues until closing times of the bars.
Also, visit each venue with a SALT Bar Crawl Passport and get it stamped. Discover a variety of food, drinks and flavors, while collecting stamps. Completed passports are eligible for a prize raffle. Take a turn at the SALT spin wheel for giveaways.
Lyft users can get a discount on rides to and from the SALT Bar Crawl. New users can receive $5 off their first four rides by using the code, SALTOURKAKAAKO. Existing users can receive 20 percent off two rides to and from the Bar Crawl by using the code, SALTBARCRAWL1.
While at SALT at Our Kakaʻako, guests can visit the many unique stores and restaurants that make it urban Honolulu’s most exciting gathering place and the 2018 winner of the International Council of Shopping Centers Shopping Center of the Year Award. Pa‘akai Marketplace and the SALT Bar Crawl are scheduled on the third weekend of the month.
