(Honolulu) – The Queen’s Health Systems has named Angela Macera, RN, as Director, System Behavioral Health.
Macera has over 30 years of in-depth nursing experience, including being an active nurse leader in managing inpatient behavioral health units for adults and adolescents, as well as over 22 years in varying progressive clinical and administrative roles at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She is also part of the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatric Academy, our partner for clinical expertise and training.
At Queen’s, Macera will provide clinical oversight, training and development for outstanding behavioral health services across the system. This will include the development and effective implementation of policies, procedures and protocols based on leading and evidence-based practices.
Macera earned her master of business administration degree in hospital administration from Iona College in New York and her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Herbert H. Lehman College in New York.
