(Maui) – The County of Maui Dept. of Water Supply (DWS) advises motorists to follow signage and drive with caution at the intersection of Piikea Street and South Kihei Road on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 due to a waterline repair.

DWS personnel will be replacing a broken water service line on the makai side (ocean side) of South Kihei Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The southbound right-turn lane and the entrance to the Kihei Post Office will be closed.

Water service should not be affected. Customers are requested to call the 24-hour service line (270-7633) only if a water emergency occurs.
