(Kauai)–The Hanamâ’ulu Neighborhood Association (HNA), in partnership with the County of Kaua’i, is spearheading a clean-up of Hanamâ’ulu Beach Park on Saturday, June 15.
The clean-up will begin at 7 a.m. and end at noon. Individuals or organizations that are interested in participating in the clean-up are encouraged to sign up ahead of time. Volunteers will be provided with free lunch and beverages courtesy of HNA.
Plans for the clean-up include: clearing of overgrowth and bushes; landscaping; and re-painting the pavilion, restrooms and picnic tables. Participants should wear appropriate attire: work clothes; covered shoes; and gloves. Those with garden equipment such as weedwackers, hedge trimmers and lawnmowers are asked to bring them to the clean-up.
