(Hawaii)– For the first time, the Kapi‘olani Radiothon for Kids will be a virtual event!
An annual fundraiser in support of Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, the 14th Annual Radiothon for Kids will be broadcast on KSSK 92.3. The only thing different this year is the distance between the KSSK team, Kapi‘olani patients and families, sponsors, volunteers and staff. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and in consideration of the safety and health of everyone involved, KSSK radio personalities will be broadcasting from the station’s studios while volunteers engage remotely online and Kapi‘olani’s foundation staff members take donation calls from offices downtown.
No matter how people tune in to KSSK 92.3 for this year’s Radiothon, they’ll hear impactful stories of courageous children from across the state. People will be encouraged to donate in support of specialized care for children and women that only Kapi‘olani can offer.
KSSK 92.3’s Michael W. Perry, Scottie B, Curt Williams and other radio personalities will help share stories of hope and healing from Kapi‘olani patients and their families LIVE on the air to raise money in support of Kapi‘olani, Hawai‘i’s only Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital.
Community support is vital to ensure Kapi‘olani’s health care providers have the resources they need to provide the best possible care now and in the future. As always, 100% of all gifts made through the Radiothon stay local benefiting Kapi‘olani.
During these uncertain times, Hawai‘i’s keiki need the community’s support more than ever! Kapi‘olani has had a partnership with Children’s Miracle Network for over 35 years.
