(Honolulu)– Kaneohe’s hidden oasis, YWCA of O‘ahu Camp Kokokahi, will hold its 2nd annual community fair on Saturday, September 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family friendly event has free admission and promises to be a day with fun on the beautiful campgrounds. Free valet parking will be available on site.
“We hope that families from all over the island comes out to Kokokahi to enjoy and support the fair,” said Candace Wessinger, YWCA of O‘ahu’s chief operations officer. “We have a full day of fun, great food, and entertainment planned. And if you haven’t been here for a long time or have never been to Kokokahi, you are in for a delightful treat. It truly is one of the most beautiful places on O‘ahu to visit.”
Scheduled activities include tree climbing, voyaging canoe rides, Makahiki games, field games, a Lego Fun Zone, giant keiki mural painting, Hawaiian arts & crafts, and live music. Displays, retail booths, and food trucks from Street Grindz will be on site.
Proceeds benefit Camp Kokokahi’s gym that is in need of a new roof.
