(LÎHU‘E) – The public is reminded that University of Hawai‘i Head Football Coach Nick Rolovich and his staff will host two football camps this week.
The camps will be held at the Vidinha Stadium on Wednesday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m.
The camps will focus on both offense and defense techniques to provide participants with exposure to both sides of the game.
The first camp is free and is geared towards youngsters’ age’s five to eighth grade (Fall 2016).
High school students, grades nine to 12 (Fall 2016), are invited to the second session, which is a prospect camp. The cost to attend is $20.
Registration for the camps will be held at the stadium an hour before each session.
Cash, money orders or checks will be accepted for payment. Checks should be made payable to the University of Hawai‘i.
To expedite the registration process, participants/parents are urged to access the registration/parent consent form online at www.kauai.gov/parks, and bring the completed form to the event.
If an ASL interpreter or auxiliary aid support is required for a youngster to participate, please contact the Department of Parks and Recreation at 241-4460.
