(Kauai)– In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Day, County of Kaua’i offices along with the Kekaha Landfill, all refuse transfer stations, and the Kaua’i Resource Center will be closed today. The Kaua’i Bus will be running on a reduced schedule today.
Since the Kapaa and Waimea swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, they will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in observance of the MLK holiday. Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled. All HI-5 bottle redemption centers and the Puhi Metals Recycling Center will also maintain normal hours of operation.
