(LĪHU’E) — In observance of Veteran’s Day, the Kaua‘i County offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center and Kaua’i Resource Center.
Residential refuse pick-up will not be affected by the holiday; it will continue as scheduled.
All HI-5 bottle redemption centers with the exception of the one located at the Kaua’i Resource Center will maintain regular hours on Veteran’s Day.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on the holiday.
The Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools will be closed on Veteran’s Day.
Additionally, all of the neighborhood centers will be closed on the holiday.
The normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Thursday, Nov. 12.
