(LIHUE) –With the launch of its new Customer Service Portal this week, the Department of Water (DOW) would like to remind residents about the other available ways to reach staff.
The following are DOW phone numbers that customers should keep on hand for immediate assistance:
-Main Office: 245-5400
-Water Service Applications: 245-5430
-New Water Service Requests: 245-5421
-Trouble calls after business hours: Police Dispatch 241-1711
The DOW does not own a 1-800 or toll free number and is not affiliated with “Water Works” or any company promoting a similar feature.
As a reminder, customers should never send cash through the mail or drop box, and should not provide personal, confidential or financial information to anyone when responding to unsolicited phone calls. The DOW does not request nor accepts credit card payments over the phone. Payments are only accepted via in person at the DOW’s office or through a check payable to The Department of Water and mailed to The Department of Water at 4398 Pua Loke Street or P.O. Box 29970, Lihue, HI 96766.
