(KAPA’A)–The public is advised of intermittent road closures on the northern portion of Ka’apuni Road in Kapa’a during the working hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday; except holidays, now through August 23, weather permitting, in order to continue water system improvements for the Kapa’a Homesteads Well No. 4 Project. Motorists are advised to expect delays, use alternate routes or to avoid the area during the scheduled working hours, if possible.
The intermittent road closures are necessary for the safety of the working crew, neighboring residents and motorists and is required in order to allow contractor, Earthworks Pacific Inc. to perform work on the drain line installation along Ka’apuni Road.
Intermittent partial road closures will be in place on Ka’apuni Road, beginning south of the intersection of Ka’apuni Road and Alapaki Road; near the Ka’apuni Nursery, and will continue north, as work progresses towards the intersection of Ka’apuni Road and Kawaihau Road.
