(Kaneohe)– Classes at Windward Community College have been cancelled through Friday, June 22, 2012. The campus will reopen for classes on Monday, June 25, 2012.
A blown fuse has caused a power outage affecting the whole campus and a part is being shipped from the mainland to repair it. The campus is working with HECO and an electrician to address the issue. In the meantime, a limited power supply is available and being rerouted to maintain refrigeration requirements for laboratories and the cafeteria.
A “Meet the Candidate” mixer hosted by the Kailua Chamber of Commerce that was to be held on the campus, Wednesday, June 20, was cancelled.
