(Oahu)– The City and County of Honolulu Department of Environmental Services (ENV) is temporarily closing its Kapa‘a Transfer Station to the public Thursday and Friday, June 2 and 3, 2022, for pit floor resurfacing and roof restoration. The transfer station reopens Saturday, June 4 at 7 a.m.
The public may experience periodic delays or closures at the Kapa‘a Transfer Station between June and December 2022 during the renovation project. ENV will provide advance notification of any major service disruption.
During closures, the public is asked to either hold its trash until the transfer station reopens or use another city disposal location. Alternate disposal locations are listed on the ENV website.
