(LĪHU‘E) – Young softball players that are interested in improving their game are invited to attend a free All-American softball clinic. The clinic is scheduled on Aug. 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Isenberg Park.
The Aug. 2 session is for youth ages eight to 12 and the following day, a session will be held for youth ages 13 to 18.
Standouts on the University of Hawai‘i’s softball team including Jessica Iwata, Kelly Majam-Elms and Stephanie Ricketts will provide pointers on fielding, hitting and pitching.
A parent recruiting seminar will also be held on Aug. 3 from 4 to 4:45 p.m.

Dinner will be provided for the athletes on both days.
The clinic is sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation and Brick Oven Pizza.
