(LĪHU’E) – Online registration for the county’s Winter Fun program begins Wednesday at 8 a.m. on the Department of Parks & Recreation website, www.kauai.gov/parks.
Winter Fun will be offered at the Kapa‘a, Līhu‘e and Kalāheo neighborhood centers and is open to children ages 5–11. The program runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, beginning Monday, Dec. 22 through Friday, Jan. 9. There is no program on December 25 and January 1.
The cost of the program is $50 per child. Payments can be made with a debit or credit card. Space is limited at each location.
Lunch will not be provided for the Winter Fun program. Children must bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks to the program daily.
Those needing assistance, or anyone without computer access, can visit any of the following neighborhood centers for assistance: Kekaha; Kalāheo; Hanapēpē; Līhu’e; Kapa‘a; or Kīlauea.
