(LĪHU‘E) – In observance of President’s Day, the County of Kaua‘i offices along with all of the refuse transfer stations, Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center, and the Kaua’i Resource Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20.
The HI-5 bottle redemption center in the Arzadon Industrial Park in Kapa‘a will also be closed on the holiday.
In addition, all of the neighborhood centers will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20.
Residential refuse pick-up will not be affected by the holiday. Its regular schedule will be maintained.
Since the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, they will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in observance of President’s Day.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be running on a reduced schedule on Monday, Feb. 20.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 21 except for the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools.
