(Honolulu)– This popular event is a crowd pleaser for several reasons. Foremost, you cannot beat the value. Four delicious courses, from starter to dessert, each carefully crafted to be paired with a selected beer, all for just $50 per person. Guests also appreciate hearing first-hand from Chef Daniel and beer expert Andy Baker about the art of pairing beer and food. And finally, because this dinner is held in Du Vin’s intimate Cask Room, it’s just the right size – neither too big, nor too small. This month, we’re taking a playful approach to some Fall’s traditional flavors with “A Night of Gourds”. On the menu:

FIRST COURSE
Butternut Squash Skewers. Cubes of butternut squash with home-made savory marshmallows, seasoned with a nutmeg-butter sauce. Paired with Newcastle Werewolf Blood Red Ale.
SECOND COURSE
Kabocha Squash Gnocchi. Du Vin’s makes this gnocchi with Kabocha Squash, seasoned with fine herbs, served with a cream sauce. Paired with Rogue Dead Guy.
THIRD COURSE
The Cornucopia. Slow cooked, French beef stew is served in a savory tuille bowl. Paired with Kill Devil Brown Ale.
DESSERT
Pumpkin Pie. House-made, the classic way. Paired with Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter.
