(Oahu)– The 13th annual Career College and Job Fair is offered on Wednesday, April 8, from 9:00 am – 12 noon on the Leeward Community College campus. The free event features approximately 60 employers and more than 20 colleges and is open to the public.
Sandy Hoshino, Job Prep Coordinator, says the goal of the Fair is “to provide access to employment opportunities from local businesses and college programs,” noting that this has been the largest event of its kind in Leeward Oahu. Hoshino continues, “The CCJ Fair is now in its thirteenth year and has become a well-established venue for representatives and attendees.”
The number of colleges attending has steadily increased. For Leeward students, the Fair provides information on transferring to 4 year institutions, along with financial aid options. For the community, the Fair offers both employment and educational opportunities. If you’re looking for a job, you can submit applications and resumes on site.
