(HONOLULU) – The Honolulu Rate Commission will be taking public testimony on proposed fare policy changes affecting TheBus and TheHandi-Van at its January 24th and February 8th meetings. Proposed changes will ensure the City’s transportation system is reliable, sustainable and able to meet the changing needs of Oʻahu’s public transportation riders.
Meetings will be held from 2:30 p.m. up to 4:30 p.m. in the Mission Memorial Auditorium near Honolulu Hale. Interested parties may participate in-person, subject to gathering guidelines, or online via WebEx. Written testimony may be sent to ratecomm@honolulu.gov, emailed to hchee@honolulu.gov or faxed to (808) 768-4730. Written testimonies, including the testifier’s address, email and phone number will be available to the public on the Rate Commission website.
