(Kaua’i)– Youngsters in kindergarten through grade five are invited to participate in the West and Central districts’ Mighty Mite, Termite and Extreme Termite Basketball League.
The league is sponsored by Kaua‘i Ho‘o Hui o Recreation in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Registration will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the following locations:
– Waimea Canyon basketball courts – Kekaha and Waimea districts
-Kalāheo Neighborhood Center – Kaumakani, Hanapēpē, ‘Ele‘ele, Kalāheo and Kōloa
– Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center (old side kitchen) – Puhi, Līhu‘e, and Hanamā‘ulu
The cost for each participant in the Mighty Mite and Termite divisions is $30, while the fee for the Extreme Termite Division is $35.
Payment must be made by check or money order to the Director of Finance. No cash will be accepted.
In addition, the league is seeking more coaches.
