(LĪHU‘E) – The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) will be on-site at the Kaua‘i Resource Center (KRC) located at 3460 Ahukini Road in Līhu‘e from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m on Friday, Oct. 1. There will be NO reuse at the end of October and December.
Residents, businesses, and other organizations can bring in unwanted or unneeded items for reuse, including clothing, small furniture, children’s toys, books, and shoes. Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition. Torn or stained clothing is okay. Please do not bring eWaste, chemicals, appliances, or broken items. We encourage the public to check with their local thrift stores to see if they can take donations before bringing items to the KRC.
Due to health and safety concerns due to heavy equipment in the area and to reduce the chance of injury to customers unloading heavy items, the Salvation Army requests that the public remains in their vehicle while on-site.
The ARC also offers pick-up services to thrift stores and businesses. Please call 241-4336 to schedule new service. For individuals that would like home pick-up service, please contact Habitat for Humanity Restore at 335-6105 or RP’s Random Closet 346-0020 (Note: RP’s Random Closet is a for-profit agency).
