(HONOLULU) – The City and County of Honolulu Department of Environmental Services (ENV) is temporarily closing its Ke‘ehi Transfer Station to the public, private haulers, and city haulers Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, starting at 2 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
The main gate will be repaired and traffic will be not be allowed to enter or exit the facility. The transfer station reopens to all traffic the following day, August 11.
During the temporary closure, the public is asked to either hold its trash until the transfer station reopens the next day or use another city disposal location. Alternate disposal locations are listed on the ENV website.
